Most of Malagasy people live in remote country when it takes hours to a town and very rarely we get to listen to the radio. So when people hear that a Hira Gasy troup is planning a show miles away, they get dressed very early in the morning to make hours long walk to watch the Sunday show. Malagasy traditional theatre when we can see dancers, singers and mostly kabary is more important that Sunday masses in rural Merina country. It is also a great way to promote news from urban centers to rural regions because the topics they talk about are very actual and most of times controversial. Here is the most popular troup travelling around the country founded by Ramilison Besigara and had hundreds of attendees.
